About BhadaKati

BhadaKati is a free public platform dedicated to making official public transport fare information in Nepal accessible to everyone.

Today, passengers can search government-approved inter-province bus fares across Nepal. Our long-term goal is to make fare information for all public transportation easy to find, transparent, and freely available.

We believe access to public information should not depend on who you know, where you're traveling, or how familiar you are with a route.

For years, public bus fares in Nepal were anything but public.

Many passengers paid more than the approved fare simply because they didn't know what they should be paying. Reliable fare information was difficult to find, and very little was available online.

Although public buses are required to display fare lists, they are often missing, outdated, or difficult for passengers to read. This leaves students, tourists, people visiting new places, and anyone unfamiliar with a route with little choice but to accept whatever fare they are asked to pay.

We believe every passenger should know the official fare before they travel.

We collect fare information from official public sources and organize it into a simple, searchable format so passengers can quickly find the information they need.

Whenever official fare revisions are published, we update the platform accordingly. Community feedback also helps us identify information that may need review.

BhadaKati currently provides government-approved inter-province bus fare information, allowing passengers to search official fares before they travel.

This is the first step toward our vision of making public transport information more transparent and accessible across Nepal.

We are actively working to expand BhadaKati beyond inter-province routes.

Our current priority is bringing Kathmandu Valley public bus fares to the platform. We are working to obtain official fare information so the data we publish remains accurate and reliable.

Over time, we hope to expand coverage to include more local routes and additional public transportation information across Nepal.
